Sitti’s Tray
About This Product
The table “Sitti’s Tray” is inspired by the straw trays handmade by the grandmother with skill and love, evoking childhood memories while preserving a traditional Palestinian craft at risk of disappearance. One of these trays was transformed into a furniture piece using molds and resin, maintaining its original spirit while occasionally reinterpreting it with contemporary touches to suit different tastes and homes.

I worked through each stage until I reached the final result, a modern interactive table with multi use functions that includes internal storage drawers.
Led a volunteer program titled A Step Toward Enhanced Community across schools, including a Recycling Cardboard Tubes workshop and reuse materials into street furniture using organic materials.
