Working Groups Program: Laying the Foundation for Change

Palestine Technopark established five group committees composed of diaspora and local Palestinians to drive programs and projects in key areas such as startups, employment, research, coaching, and universities. These committees met monthly and reported their progress regularly to the Technopark steering committee.

The objectives include:

  • Leveraging Diaspora Expertise: Utilizing the skills, knowledge, and resources of the Palestinian diaspora to foster economic growth and innovation within Palestine.
  • Facilitating Collaboration: Creating a collaborative environment among diaspora members, local professionals, and organizations to share best practices, insights, and resources for positive change.
  • Supporting Economic Development: Aligning initiatives with the Palestinian government’s economic strategies to enhance infrastructure, promote entrepreneurship, and stimulate job creation across various sectors.
  • Enhancing Employability and Skills Development: Providing training, mentorship, and internship opportunities to equip the local workforce with essential skills for a competitive job market.
  • Promoting Research and Innovation: Encouraging research initiatives and technological advancements that addressed local challenges, fostered creativity, and enhanced Palestine's global competitiveness.

Building a Strong Network: Establishing a resilient and dynamic global network of Palestinians committed to sustainable development, knowledge sharing, and fostering a sense of pride and responsibility towards the Palestinian community.
