Palestine TechnoPark Concludes Strategic San Francisco Mission to Expand Global Opportunities for Palestinian Tech

San Francisco, September 2026 — Palestine TechnoPark successfully concluded a strategic mission to San Francisco and Silicon Valley aimed at strengthening the global presence of Palestine’s technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem, opening new markets, connecting Palestinian startups with investors, and building long-term partnerships with the international technology community.

The mission brought together Palestinian startups, technology leaders, ecosystem organizations, and partners for a series of meetings, company visits, networking activities, pitching opportunities, and ecosystem discussions across Silicon Valley.

Connecting Palestine with the Silicon Valley Ecosystem

During the visit, the Palestinian delegation engaged with leading global technology companies and innovation organizations, including Google, NVIDIA, Apple, AWS, Salesforce, Broadcom, Plug and Play, and others.

These engagements provided an opportunity to introduce Palestine’s growing technology sector, explore potential areas of cooperation, and discuss opportunities in entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, workforce development, investment, market access, and collaboration with Palestinian technology companies.

The mission also allowed Palestinian entrepreneurs to experience Silicon Valley’s innovation ecosystem firsthand and better understand how startups can approach the U.S. market, investors, accelerators, and global technology partners.

Sharks Palestine Startups Explore the U.S. Market

A major component of the mission was the participation of startups from the **first cohort of Sharks Palestine**, a program implemented through a partnership between Palestine TechnoPark and Damascus Gate Foundation.

Nine startups from the cohort participated in the San Francisco mission and took part in a five-day program that included visits to companies, accelerators, innovation organizations, and meetings with entrepreneurs and investors.

The experience gave participating founders valuable exposure to Silicon Valley and encouraged them to consider the United States not only as a source of investment, but also as a potential market for Palestinian products and services.

Palestine at the TechWadi Annual Conference

The delegation also participated in the **TechWadi Annual Conference on September 19**, providing an important platform to network with technology professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, and members of the Palestinian and Arab diaspora.

A dedicated panel highlighted Palestine’s technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem, its talent, resilience, investment opportunities, and the importance of connecting Palestinian entrepreneurs with global markets and diaspora networks.

Palestine TechnoPark Vice Chairman Ala Alaeddin joined the discussion alongside representatives from the investment and entrepreneurship community, presenting the opportunities available within Palestine’s technology sector and inviting international partners and members of the diaspora to become active participants in its development.

The conference provided an important opportunity for the Palestinian delegation and participating startups to build new connections and increase awareness of Palestine's capabilities within the heart of the global technology industry.

Palestinian Tech Ecosystem Investment & Growth Forum

The mission concluded on September 20  with the **Palestinian Tech Ecosystem Investment & Growth Forum** at the Ramallah Club in San Francisco.

The forum brought together Palestinian startups, investors, business leaders, diaspora professionals, development partners, and technology experts to discuss practical ways of increasing investment, international partnerships, and market opportunities for Palestine’s technology sector.

The morning featured the **Sharks Palestine Investment Pitch Session**, where 15 startups from the first cohort were represented and participating founders had the opportunity to present their businesses and engage with investors and technology professionals.

The afternoon included two key panel discussions.

"Building Palestine’s Innovation Ecosystem" explored the current state of the Palestinian technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem, its strengths and challenges, and the partnerships needed to accelerate its growth.

"Success Stories — Companies Growing from Palestine” highlighted practical experiences of companies and organizations working with Palestinian talent and demonstrated the potential for international companies to establish partnerships, teams, and business operations in Palestine.

The forum was designed not simply to showcase the Palestinian technology sector, but to create actionable connections that can lead to investment, market access, business partnerships, and future opportunities.

A Collaborative Palestinian Effort

The San Francisco mission was the result of collaboration among several key actors in the Palestinian technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Palestine TechnoPark and TechStart worked alongside partners including Damascus Gate Foundation, IPSD II, PartneringX, PaltechUS, and other supporters to connect Palestinian entrepreneurs and technology companies with the U.S. innovation ecosystem.

The mission demonstrated the value of Palestinian ecosystem organizations working together around a common objective: **creating more opportunities for Palestinian entrepreneurs, expanding access to international markets and investment, and positioning Palestine as a source of competitive technology talent and innovation.**

From a Visit to Long-Term Partnerships

For Palestine TechnoPark, the San Francisco mission represents part of a broader strategy to connect Palestine's innovation ecosystem with global technology hubs, science and technology parks, investors, companies, research institutions, and the Palestinian diaspora.

The visit also strengthened Palestine TechnoPark’s efforts to reactivate and expand the Palestine Diaspora Network for Tech, creating a stronger platform through which Palestinian professionals and friends of Palestine around the world can contribute their expertise, networks, mentorship, investment, and business connections.

The conclusion of the San Francisco visit is therefore not the end of the mission, but the beginning of its next phase.

Palestine TechnoPark and its partners will continue following up on the connections and opportunities generated during the visit, with the objective of translating them into concrete partnerships, investments, market opportunities, and programs that benefit Palestinian startups, technology companies, entrepreneurs, and young talent.

"Palestine TechnoPark remains committed to connecting Palestine to the world — and bringing the world closer to Palestine’s innovation ecosystem."
