In response to the urgent need for resilience and growth within the Palestinian tech sector, Palestine Techno Park is proud to announce the launch of the Tech Circles Program—an initiative designed to empower Palestinian tech professionals through mentorship, skill development, and global networking opportunities.
Yesterday marked the official launch of the Tech Circles Program, a strategic initiative aimed at supporting young Palestinian talent across the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Gaza. With a focus on mentorship and professional development, the program connects 59 promising young professionals and recent graduates with a network of 11 distinguished mentors from the Palestinian diaspora. These mentors, based in cities such as Dubai, Germany, the USA, the Netherlands, Canada, and Australia, are leaders in their respective fields and come from top international organizations including Oracle, AWS, IBM Canada, Medcor, Inc., Accenture, BMO, Telstra Health, SaskTel, and more.
The mentors bring a wealth of experience and global insights from industry-leading companies, offering guidance that will help mentees enhance their skills, expand their professional networks, and navigate the challenges of the tech industry. This mentorship is pivotal in ensuring that Palestinian tech talent can access the tools and knowledge needed to excel in the competitive global market.
The need for such a program is more critical than ever. Despite the talent and drive within the Palestinian community, access to resources, mentorship, and growth opportunities remains a significant barrier. The Tech Circles Program addresses these gaps by offering structured support, fostering collaboration, and creating pathways for professional advancement. Through these efforts, the program aims to contribute to the long-term development of a sustainable, thriving Palestinian tech ecosystem.
This initiative also provides mentors with a unique opportunity to give back to their homeland. By sharing their expertise and empowering the next generation of Palestinian tech leaders, they are helping to shape a brighter future for the region's tech industry.
The Tech Circles Program is organized by Palestine Techno Park, in partnership with Intersect, and is supported by the Government of Canada. Together, these organizations are committed to providing the necessary tools and connections to enable Palestinian tech professionals to achieve their full potential.
As the Tech Circles Program progresses, we look forward to witnessing the growth and success of the Palestinian tech community, and we are excited to see the lasting impact this initiative will have on the future of Palestinian innovation.
