Palestine TechnoPark Hosts Swedish Delegation to Advance MSME Support and Creative Industries

As part of the “Supporting MSMEs Competitiveness and Growth in Palestine (SMCGP)” programme, Palestine TechnoPark hosted a delegation from the Consulate General of Sweden in Jerusalem, in the presence of representatives from the Small Enterprise Center (SEC) and Global Communities.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review progress under the programme, which is implemented by Global Communities and funded by the Swedish Government. Discussions focused on the Creative Hub Initiative, implemented in partnership with Palestine TechnoPark, and its role in supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the furniture sector.

The initiative aims to bridge the gap between business needs and market-relevant skills through a range of interventions, including the Creative Hub Platform, Training of Trainers (ToT) programs, creativity competitions, and efforts to prepare the next generation of designers and creative professionals.

Participants also emphasized the importance of continued investment in skills development, fostering collaboration among stakeholders, and promoting locally driven innovation as key drivers for sustainable economic growth and long-term impact.

This engagement reflects the strong partnership between Palestine TechnoPark, international development partners, and local institutions in supporting entrepreneurship and advancing the creative economy in Palestine.
