Preparations Underway for the Launch of Palestine AI Week 2026
Preparations are in full swing for the highly anticipated Palestine AI Week 2026, a landmark national initiative set to position Palestine at the forefront of artificial intelligence innovation, policy dialogue, and digital transformation.
Organized by Palestine TechnoPark, in partnership with leading local and international stakeholders, the upcoming AI Week will take place from April 25 to May 1, 2026, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs, and members of the Palestinian diaspora to explore the transformative potential of AI across sectors.
The organizing committee has been actively coordinating with strategic partners, government entities, universities, and private sector representatives to ensure a comprehensive and impactful program. The week will feature a series of high-level activities, including:
- A flagship AI Conference held under the patronage of the Prime Minister
- Specialized technical sessions and policy dialogues
- Hands-on workshops and capacity-building programs
- The Agentic AI Challenge 2026 hackathon
- An AI Exhibition showcasing local innovations
- The TechnoPark AI Research Award recognizing excellence in research
As part of the preparations, multiple coordination meetings have been conducted with key ecosystem partners to align on objectives, finalize program tracks, and ensure strong participation from both local experts and international diaspora professionals.
Special emphasis is being placed on engaging Palestinian talent from around the world through the Palestine Diaspora Network for Technology, enabling knowledge transfer, mentorship, and investment opportunities that strengthen the national AI ecosystem.
The event will also serve as a platform for advancing discussions around AI policy, ethics, and responsible use, while highlighting practical applications of AI in key productive sectors such as industry, agriculture, healthcare, and public services.
In addition, efforts are underway to host distinguished international guests and experts, further enriching the dialogue and fostering global partnerships that support Palestine’s digital transformation journey.
