Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This page lists every cookie the Palestine AI Week website sets and how you can control them.
| Cookie | What it does | How long it lasts | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| ai_week_session | Keeps you signed in, and remembers where you are in a form such as registration. | 2 hours after your last visit | Strictly necessary |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Protects the site's forms against requests forged by other websites. | 2 hours after your last visit | Strictly necessary |
| pse_consent | Remembers your answer about visit statistics, so the site does not ask again. | 6 months | Strictly necessary |
| pse_visit | Groups the pages you open in one visit, so the statistics can count visits as well as page views. Set only if you allow visit statistics. | 30 minutes after the last page you open | Statistics |
The first two are set by this site for the whole technopark.ps domain; the other two only for this site's own pages.
When you first open the site, it asks whether you allow visit statistics. Until you say yes, the site records nothing about your visit and does not even load the code that would. If you allow them, each page you open records the page's address (without anything after a question mark), the domain of the website that sent you here, whether you are on a phone, a tablet or a computer, the country Cloudflare reports for your connection, the site's language and the time. Your IP address, your browser details and your account are not recorded.
The statistics are deleted automatically after 13 months. Only Palestine TechnoPark staff see them, in the site's administration area, and they are not shared with anyone.
You can change your answer at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of every page. Saying no deletes the visit cookie and stops the statistics.
The site uses no advertising or social media cookies. Cloudflare, which delivers the site, counts page views and measures loading speed with a script that sets no cookies.
Videos on the site, such as the ones on the Videos page and on conference session pages, are embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which sets no cookies until you play a video (the player may still keep a few technical entries in your browser's local storage). Once you press play, YouTube may store cookies or similar information in your browser under its own privacy policy.
You can see, delete and block cookies in your browser's settings. If you block the two strictly necessary cookies at the top of the table, you will not be able to register or sign in.
More about how we handle personal information is in the Privacy Policy.
