He explained that initiating this experience at Polytechnic University of Palestine aligns with the university's overall goals.
Both Abu Hajla and Al-Khatib affirmed that the virtual and augmented reality sector is promising and highly capable of significant development in the coming period, with numerous sectors in various regions of Palestine. They were briefed on the strategic objectives of the Park and the methods of cooperation with relevant entities to achieve these objectives. Currently, the Techno Park is working on establishing innovation and entrepreneurship labs within the Park's building to meet the needs of the local, regional, and global markets, which place significant importance on virtual and augmented reality.
It's worth mentioning that the Palestine Techno Park project was launched over a year ago with generous donations from the Indian government. This includes the construction of the Palestinian-Indian Technological Park building and the infrastructure for the entire 20-dunam area allocated by Birzeit University to host this national project, making it a central and distinguished site for the development of knowledge industry in Palestine from various aspects.
